PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) treatments for the under-eye area are regenerative treatments that stimulate collagen and elastin production and promote the regeneration of healthy skin tissue.

Here are some general facts about PRP regenerative treatments for the under-eyes:

Results: PRP treatments provide gradual and natural results that improve over time. It takes about 2-3 months to see significant results following a course of treatments. Individual results may vary depending on the body's response to collagen regeneration induced by PRP

Recommended Number of Treatments: For most people, three treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart are recommended to achieve significant results.

Resorption of PRP: Unlike dermal filler treatments, PRP injections below the skin in the under-eye area do not provide immediate and final results in terms of volume. The volume added by PRP is gradually resorbed by the body within 2-3 days. However, tissue regeneration begins shortly after the treatment and continues for months.

Improvement in Aging Signs: PRP treatments can improve various signs of aging in the under-eye area, including fine lines, texture, loose skin, loss of volume, deep wrinkles, and pigmentation. However, large under-eye fatty tissue (under-eye bags) is not typically treated with PRP and may require surgical removal.

Treatment Process: The PRP regenerative treatment process involves taking a small amount of blood from the patient, spinning it in a machine to separate the platelets and plasma from red blood cells, and then injecting the PRP into the under-eye area.

Multiple treatments may be necessary for optimal results.

Common Areas of Treatment: PRP treatments can address various under-eye concerns, such as pigmentation or dark circles, under-eye hollows with or without pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, loss of elasticity and firmness, and under-eye bags.

Safety: Since PRP is derived from the patient's own blood, there is little to no risk of intolerance or allergy to the treatment.
